Dog’s Best Friend
Pet care experience
Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with them in the house—every shape, size, and breed you can imagine—and I’ve been the go-to dog sitter for friends and family for as long as I can remember. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a chill senior dog, I’m the one who walks in and greets the dog first (always!), gets on the floor to play, and makes sure they feel safe, seen, and loved the entire time I’m with them. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I have experience with dogs of all temperaments, including anxious or high-energy pups, and I’m comfortable administering medications or accommodating special needs. I’m also flexible with routines and happy to handle last-minute bookings when I’m available. I’m looking forward to making some new pup friends—and building long-term trust with both pets and their people.

Safety, trust & environment
Whether I’m caring for your dog in my home or yours, their comfort and safety are my top priorities. At home, while I don’t have a fenced yard, I make up for it with frequent walks and plenty of playtime. I also have access to a secure, interactive play area where your pup can run free and get their energy out. I’m happy to crate if needed, and I always encourage bringing their own bed, toys, or anything else that helps them feel at home. If your dog loves car rides, we can even hit the road together for a little adventure!

Information Ryan P. would like to know about your pet
Before we start, I’d love to know a few important things to make sure your pet has the best experience possible: • Daily routine: Mealtimes, potty schedule, favorite activities • Energy level: Are we talking couch potato or zoomies champion? • Any medical needs: Medications, allergies, or anything I should monitor • Triggers or fears: Loud noises, other dogs, strangers, etc. • Social style: Do they like meeting new people or prefer solo time? • Crate trained? And do you want them crated when I’m away? • Commands they know: Sit, stay, off, etc.—and how you reinforce them • Anything off-limits? (Furniture, treats, certain toys) The more I know, the more I can tailor their time with me to feel just like home (or even better!).
A typical day
Every pet is different, and I love getting to know what makes each one light up. Some of our favorite activities might include long sniffari walks (where your pup gets to explore at their own pace), fetch sessions, tug-of-war, or just lounging around with belly rubs and head scratches. If your dog loves car rides, we might even take a quick cruise with the windows down (safely, of course!). I also have an indoor play area where they can run, jump, and play with interactive toys. My goal is to match their energy level and keep them happy, relaxed, and feeling loved the whole time you’re away.

Availability
I work remotely from home, which gives me the flexibility to adjust my schedule as needed. That means I’m available throughout the day for potty breaks, playtime, walks, or just some quality time with your pup. Whether it’s a quick check-in or extended care, I can easily fit pet visits into my daily routine.
