Pet care experience
I’m a recent graduate from pharmacy school working for a pharmaceutical company and living in Jupiter. I have grown up with dogs all my life (labradors and more recently a Jack Russell mix) and have learned to love cats as an adult. I would love to be able to have some exposure to animals while living on my own. At my parent’s home in CT I regularly care for my elderly lab and more energetic Jack Russell mix so I appreciate the different needs of different dogs. As my parents enjoy the empty nest phase of life they will often leave me to watch the dogs while they are on vacation, which naturally requires that I do more than just walk and feed the dogs (water plants, etc). As a life-long dog (and animal) lover I can assure you that your pet will be in good hands with someone who misses their own family pets and always wants the very best for them.

My personal experiences have been with dogs of various ages and sizes. I am most familiar with the happy-go-lucky lab personality but over the past 8 years have learned to work well with the more finicky and particular personality of the Jack Russell mix that my parents have. That is to say that of course it is important to know the temperament of the dog, but that I’ve experienced animals of different temperaments.
A typical day
I am still learning and exploring NYC so am happy to take your dog on long walks around town. I also love dog parks and playing with dogs (a bit hard to do these days sans dog, however). I and also an avid runner if your dog requires more high-energy experiences.
