I have a people-friendly cat and an energetic but lazy at times dog. I have taken my dogs to obedience classes so I know positive reinforcement and proper handling of interactions. All of which help alleviate any stress a dog may feel when meeting a new person and being in an unfamiliar environment. Communication is big with me and I promise to have my phone on me at all times and am open to having owners check-in with their dog via the Rover App’s messaging feature. I believe it's important to have this because you are trusting someone with a loved family member as I would feel with my own dogs. Expect a lot of photos! I also have experience working at a veterinary hospital and dog groomers.
