I grew up with dogs and have a great little guy of my own, Tex, who I found deserted at a truck stop in Texas. Tex likes hanging out in the back yard chasing squirrels squirrel, along with daily walks to the park. He is also very well-mannered and I expect the same of the dogs I watch, particularly given Tex's size. As a grad student at MSU, I thought this would be a good way to make some extra money and keep Tex socialized. In terms of dependability, I'm a 10-year USCG veteran and have had several jobs taking care of animals, including working at the MSU Veterinary College for two years. I've also watched several of my friends dogs - they always love the daily runs/walks and sun baths in the yard. I'm sure yours will, too!
