Pet care experience
I owned a Golden Retriever from a very young age and trained it myself until I finally went to college. Recently I was living in Melbourne and had many great experiences boarding dogs in my apartment and house sitting with the dogs as well. I have always loved dogs of all kinds and see this as a great way to get my dog to fill as I am currently unable to get one of my own. I’ve recently moved to the Wilmington area with a remote job so would love to spend some of my time taking care of someone’s pets and with their company. In my free time I also write which makes a dog’s walk the perfect reason to take a break.

Loki had a great time with Ryan! We felt so comfortable leaving our little anxious pup with Ryan. Took him for lots of walk and certainly gave him lots of attention. So happy to have found him! Thank you Ryan for such a great experience!
Ryan watched our fearful 85-lb dog for over a week and was extremely responsive, reliable, and professional. We were so happy to find Ryan! He did a great job with our girl, who can be difficult because she is very much afraid of new people.
This was our first time ever using a service. We had a death in the family and needed someone last minute to stay with our puppies. We were a bit apprehensive having never used a service before. But given the circumstances, we had to find someone right away. Then we found Ryan here on Rover. We can't thank Ryan enough for the great care he took of our babies. It was one (major) less thing to worry about, so we could be with our family at this time of loss for us. Ryan did an excellent job and we would hire him again in a heartbeat! Thank you Ryan, you ROCK!
I used to dog sit with Ryan while living together in Australia and he was so great with all of the pups we watched! He formed strong bonds with all of the dogs, was great and consistent with walks and playtime. He also has experience administering medication and handling disabled dogs. Ryan is a great sitter for your dog!

Availability
Have a reasonably flexible work from home position. So before work walks, lunch time and afternoon exercise is all easy to work in depending the dog. Will happily work to keep your dog’s schedule as well.
