Ryan volunteered with us at Merazonia animal refuge, Ecuador last spring. We rescue and rehabilitate wild animals to the jungle, but inevitably when you work with animals, we also end up with various needy dogs in our care. Ryan prooved to be an excellent volunteer, caring for the animals he was responsible for with sensitivity and compassion, but his particular favourites were the dogs. He went out of his way to spend time playing with and walking them at any opportunity. His calm presence and obvious love for them was a great help with the more nervous ones. I would not hesitate to entrust the care of any animal to Ryan as I know he would do everything within his power to make sure they were kept healthy and happy.
