I work from home and my wife stays at home as well. We do have 2 kids aged 0-5 so your dog(s) must be good with kids. We also have 2 dogs aged 5 and 7. Puppies are fine but older dogs are even better! We do have a fenced in yard so the dogs can play all they want.

A typical day
A typical day for the dogs involves a lot of outdoor time for them if they desire. One of my dogs is very active and the other not much at all. So if it is a older dog who just wants to lay around, or a dog that wants to play, either is good.

Me and my wife are both at home all day. Therefore, there is no difference in our routine. Would just be an added dog or dogs.
