My fiance, our two cats and I have recently moved from North Carolina to Kent. I grew up in Kent, graduating from Roosevelt in '06, and I am excited to settle down together in my hometown! Growing up, my family included a Collie, as well as a Greyhound mix. It also included four cats, as well as two hamsters. I was a major part in the raising, caring for and training of these pets, I have also pet sat for many family and friend's dogs and cats. Over the last two years, I have enjoyed sharing my skills with North Carolina pet parents through Rover. Now I am excited to be able to offer those services to the Kent area! When I am looking after your pet, they are my only priority. I want your pet(s) to enjoy their time with me as much as possible and to feel as comfortable as if they were just going for a walk with, or having a visit from, a friend. To that end, during any booking with me, I will be there in the same room with, or outside walking with, your pet(s) the entire time. Unless you would prefer not to receive them, I will send you updates each day, walk or visit describing how your pet is doing and including at least one photo! If you choose to schedule dog walks with me, and prefer for your dog to get even more exercise, I will take your dog for jog/run at no extra charge! Just let me know when you send me a message to schedule it. However, I can only run a max of two times per day and it will be first come, first served! During most of her life, our Collie took several oral medicines a day, and for her last 2 years she had regular injections, limited mobility and was blind as well. Due to this experience, I feel fully comfortable administering any medications you regularly give to your pet(s) and/or caring for any mildly or seriously disabled pet. Just let me know what special needs your pet has, and I will happily accommodate them! My rates are all negotiable based upon the particular circumstances, so feel free to ask! I would also be thrilled to pet sit for just about any other species of animal. Just let me know what kind of pet you have, and we can figure out a plan!
