I got my first dog Max at age 5. He was my best friend, we did everything together. Through him I developed a deep connection with animals that I carried with me throughout my life. Shortly after he passed my sisters brought home a stray named Lizzy with WAYYY too much energy and as the oldest brother it was my job to train her. I attended formal training classes with her and before too long she was the most behaved dog in the class. After her was Sophie a tiny little thing that looked like Toto, and various friends and family dogs that I cared for over the years. I am passionate about animals because they are nature, and that is where I feel at home.
