I am a veterinarian seeking animal care opportunities while I recover from a hand injury and prepare for the next steps in my career. I have over 13 years in a professional capacity with animals, from kennel duty to veterinary assistant to being a 'real animal doctor,' along with approximately 30 years of personal pet care, including cats, rabbits, and other small mammals. I am experienced with the dosage and administration of topical, oral, and injectable medications, including administering subcutaneous fluids. I am also interested in behavior and training in a force-free, operant conditioning model, so we can always work on manners and interactions in a positive way with your beloved pet. I believe each animal is unique, regardless of breed, and has wonderful capacities for interaction and emotion that bond them with us.
