Pet care experience
I’m that person who wants to pet all the dogs in the world. My family always had dogs that I helped raise and train — Aussies, Shetlands, retrievers, doodles, and mixes. I also used to be the dog/house sitter for the owner of the design firm I used to work for - my first professional gig haha. I’ve also lent a hand to many friends for walks and sittings while they’re away. Professionally, I’ve worked with everything from chihuahuas to English Stafford terriers, toy poodles to pitties - love ‘em all!
Reviews
Once again, Ryan knocked it out of the park! Our dogs adore him, we got lots of photos of some super happy and well-cared-for pups, and came home to a clean house. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!
Ryan took great care of our 3 pets, and provided comforting daily photos of them, to reassure us they were flourishing.
Ryan is amazing
Ryan has dog sat for us multiple times and has quickly become one of our dogs favorite people! A truly wonderful dog sitter that we’re always lucky to book!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a gentle approach to acquainting with a new animal, allowing the dog or cat to learn my scent and energy through meet and greets. As every pet has their own vibe and behaviors, it’s important for me to connect with each owner to address specific needs and instructions for how to best care for each dog or cat.
Information Ryan C. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if there are any special things I need to know about your pet, so I have a good idea of how I can best accommodate your request.
A typical day
When I’m walking for a client, their dog is going to hear a lot of singing. Specifically songs about them - usually something along the lines of how cute they are, or what they’re smelling ? Some of my clients want a leisurely stroll, with generous amounts of sniffing and mental stimulation. While others are having a race with themselves and speed is key. I’m open to both walking meditations and power-walking/intermittent jogging, haha. By default I like to keep distance from other dogs and people while on walks, but this varies case by case depending on the dog and owners preferences. For housesitting — there’s also lots of songs being sung about the dogs, but also dance parties, tug of war, and fetch. Because I am a dog walker, I can only sit for clients with animals that can be left for up to 4-5 hours midday on weekdays. Other than when I’m walking dogs, I’ll be hanging with yours! I always do a morning and night walk for my overnight clients, 30-90 minutes depending on the dog. Cuddly dogs and cats and a plus but not a requirement haha
