Pet care experience
I had a small dog since I was about 2 years old. I have also watched over my step family’s African hunting dog for about 4 years. I learned how to clean up after them and when they needed to have food and water and when to take them out. My dog passed away recently and now I want to be able to help out other dog parent(s) with giving their pets the best time they could have when their parent(s) are away from home. Dogs will aways have a special place in my heart and I will make sure to treat your dog the way I always treated mine, with love and affection. I am also great at getting dogs to calm down after they just played outside.

Ryan was really nice and I appreciate her accommodation of staying over Thanksgiving for us and our pup, Willow! I do want to note that the communication wasn't what I would've liked as a someone who was leaving their pup with someone from Rover. When we came home, our place smelled quite bad. we walked around and found a pile of dog poop in our guest bedroom which was a bit disappointing. There was also stuff left from her stay that wasn't ours and the kitchen was also messier than we left it. I will also note that feeding instructions weren't followed. We left out the exact amount of wet food that she'd need for her stay and when we got back, there was still a can left which tells us that the instructions weren't quite followed. Willow also has an upset stomach, which was sad to come home to. With that said, Ryan did leave the key in the lockbox like we asked and she left our parking pass on the counter, which was appreciated.
Ryan took wonderful care of my dog and my apartment while I was out of town. I have never left my dog before so I was nervous but there was no reason to be! She sent me pictures everyday and I could tell Pickle was having a good time with her. I will definitely book with her again next time I have to go out of town.
Ryan is great with our Smooth Fox Terrier, Henry, who can't be left alone in the house-- She arrives on time and returns messages immediately-- If she's available, we'll definitely use her again!
Ryan was communicative and took good care of our home and pets!

A typical day
i try and base the activities off what you, the owner, usually do with your furry animal. if the pet is more mellow and does not exercise as much, i will take them on a walk when needed. if the dog is high energy, i tend to either take them to a dog park, if able. if the dog would not react well to other dogs, either playing inside or at an empty lawn/space.

Availability
i work full time in downtown bellingham. however, i have a lot of flexibility (usually) within my schedule at work to stop by and take your pet to the bathroom and/or feed them. i usually am at work from 5 am to 2 pm.
