In Helena for the Summer!
Pet care experience
I’ve always had dogs around the home, my dad’s family currently has 5 and my moms family has 2. Since moving out and doing seasonal work we’ve missed having dogs. My girlfriend and I have done plenty of dog walking and boarding through her Rover account but I’m looking to do some walking during the day while she’s at work so I’ll be taking on some now as well to save some extra money before starting law school in the fall.

Ryan and I live together and I’ve been watching dogs through rover for a couple years now so Ryan has been helping me whenever we board dogs at our place. He is so great with them and when we both had a flexible work from home/ in-office schedule it was super nice to always have someone home with the dogs we were watching. He takes them out for plenty of walks and plays with them till they’re all tired out and curl up for a nap! We’ve never watched a dog or cat that didn’t love him!

Where we are staying this summer is not conducive to boarding so I will mostly be looking to do drop in visits, walks, or overnight stays. I have plenty of experience taking care of dogs through Rover and love to spend time with them.

Ahead of time I’d like to know how your dog does on a leash, if they’re friendly with other dogs, and if they have any food or medical needs in particular.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on hikes on local trails! No matter your dogs energy level I’m sure I can find something that is appropriate for them.

Availability
I’m currently working part time and have plenty of time during the day to work with. Generally we will be away backpacking or hiking somewhere Friday through Sunday so Monday-Thursday work best but may be able to work around a weekend schedule.
