Pet care experience
Hey there, my name is Ryan. I am a devoted dog dad to a golden retriever named Hopper and an all around dog lover. My family just moved into a single family home with a decently sized backyard (not fenced in yet, but we are working on that part). We've been taking in dogs for almost four years now and have had some great experiences getting to know some of these dogs and their owners. I started doing this originally after taking my dog to a boarding service and I couldn't believe how expensive some of these places were ($75+/day) and thought i'd be able to help by offering the kind of service that I look for whenever I head out of town and can't take my dog with me. As long as your dog is friendly to our dog (and our furniture) they are welcome anytime!

I cannot speak highly or enthusiastically enough about the care Ryan and his housemates took of my dog Joy. Ryan was gracious and communicative in the face of multiple unexpected travel delays, which resulted in my return over a day later than expected. Joy was happy and healthy under his care, and I'm so grateful to know that Ryan was taking care of her through all of my travel chaos.
Ryan, Ruby, and Hopper welcomed Ruby with open arms and treated her like a member of their family. I will definitely book with them the next time I’m out of town.
Such a positive experience having Ryan watch our pup, Winnie! He was communicative and responsive throughout the stay and we have no doubt that she was well cared for.
I cannot recommend anyone higher than Ryan!! he’s taking such good care of my dog, and even when out of his way to watch him for an extra day without charging me the normal price! Do not even question booking with him if he is the best!!!

I have a backyard (unfenced) my dog isn't a runner so we normally just let him out, for dogs that stay with us who like to explore we keep them on a leash to take them out.

Hopper is the most easy going guy and we've never had an issue. His walks are fairly short (depending on the weather) because he gets tired so easy, he has never been aggressive towards other dogs (I know, every dog owner says that) and he really just wants to lounge on the couch being pet.
A typical day
We have a walking trail in our neighborhood which equates to about a mile or so. Our daily routine for our (very lazy) dog is to take that trail loop.

I currently work part-time while going to school so I am home often, on days that I have to work there is usually someone home so the house is rarely vacant for very long.
