Pet care experience
As an experienced dog professional and passionate dog owner, I am so excited to meet you and your pup. When your dog stays with me, they become a part of the pack. I love that dogs are extremely loyal to their owners — no matter what, they’re happy to just be your sidekick. I have two lovely dogs of my own. Buddy is a 15 year old long-haired Chihuahua mix, and Princess is a nine-year-old toy Maltese. They are part of my family forever. I have had over 20 years of experience with animals. I volunteered at a local shelter for four years, worked for two years at a veterinary hospital, and then at a emergency pet hospital as a Veterinary Assistant. I have always wanted to start a business in the animal care field, so dog sitting is my dream. I love that dog sitting gives me a chance to care for others’ best friends when they are most in need.

Ruthie was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive to all of Taffy’s needs and was super flexible with me. Really looking forward to her taking care of Taffy again!!
Our experience with Ruthie for doggy daycare was great! She was accommodating of an early drop off time, and was very attentive in asking about our pup's preferences/needs. We also enjoyed the daycare "card" that we received at the end of the day! Would recommend and will be using her again!
Ruthie is wonderful! I am so lucky to have found her. She takes care of my dog as though he were her own- sends me updates and has been incredible. Top notch and very professional and great clean environment!

I highly encourage dog owners to do a meet and greet, so we can become close and your dog feels secure. I do have a few breed preferences, because I want to make sure safety is number one priority for my pack and yours. If everything feels good, your pup is welcome to stay with me!
A typical day
I’ll take your pup on a walk every morning with my dog pack, and in the afternoon we’ll go on a day trip to the local dog park to hang out with new friends! If your pup loves just snuggling at home, we’ll spend time doing that. I also love taking dogs around my local neighborhood of Brentwood and Santa Monica, mostly on Montana where there are lots of dog-friendly communities and businesses. If your dog likes to hit the trails, I love hiking by the mountains and beach trails nearby. I typically go a few times a week!
