Pet care experience
I have grown up with large dogs and small dogs. I am responsible, reliable, and I am a second year medical student (who has 95% of lectures online). I prioritize communication to make sure the owners and the dogs experience is the best it can be. Aside from dog care, I enjoy exercise so walking and playing with dogs will never be a hassle. I put in the time to make sure the dogs that I take care of are well kept, safe, and loved while the owners are gone. I have an online school schedule so I can care for your furry loved one full time at my apartment. I am willing to work with your dogs schedule to make you as comfortable as possible when I care for your dog. I truly understand how important a dog is to its owner and I want to be the one to take the extra mile when caring for your pet. I work part-time and work from home. Having a dog at my apartment would work well as I have much time to tend to all of the dogs needs. I live in an apartment complex in Newport Beach with two dog parks. Since I am home a lot I have multiple times a day I can take your dog out and there is area outside I can work and your dog can spend more time outside in a fenced area.

You will be lucky to have Ruthie as your sitter. My trio stayed with her for 4 nights and were very comfortable. One of them didn't even recognize me when I went to pick them up. He already claimed his new life with her lol. I loved getting my daily check-in of them watching movies and napping. She worked well with my seniors & all their little quirks and I wouldn't hesitate to rebook. I'm so happy to have found her!
Met Ruthie at the park with my dog about a month prior to the house sitting dates. The meeting went very well, and Ruthie seemed very responsible. Communicated with Ruthie that I would be traveling to Texas and therefore needed someone reliable to watch my dog. She reassured that she would be good for the reservation dates. Decided to book with Ruthie and she immediately confirmed the reservation. Remained in contact with Ruthie via text until the day prior to the reservation date. We confirmed a meeting time of 10:30 am on the first morning of the reservation. At 10pm the night prior to our meeting date/time, Ruthie canceled the appointment without explanation. This left me very stressed and scrambling to find an alternative person to watch my dog as my flight to Texas was the next morning. I would highly recommend that if you have set travel plans, to not go with this sitter. She left me in a very difficult bind of finding a sitter last minute.
Ruthie was a great sitter for our senior dog. She was a very clear communicator, and we knew Jasmine was in great hands from the minute we met her at the meet & greet. It was clear that Ruthie had a lot of experience in caring for all kinds of dogs of all ages, and our Jasmine would be well-loved for the weekend we were away. She shared pictures each night of our baby girl, and took great care of Jasmine. Ruthie definitely went the extra mile with her care, and we would absolutely book with Ruthie again!
Ruthie was amazing with our 9 year old pitbull, Chance! She kept him very active and spent a ton of time with him. He was so happy when we got back. We will definitely be returning to Ruthie in the future!
