I’ve been around dogs since childhood and have enjoyed having them as an adult. Each dog is special and taking care of dogs is a joy. Your dog will be given full attention. I’m fully vaccinated and boosted. I’ve taken my dogs to training classes and all were well behaved.

Ruthie watched my precious Chloe at my house on 2 occasions. Both times I was away for 10 days. Chloe was a senior dog with senior quirks and needs and Ruthie made sure all those needs were met. She would text me an update and photo twice a day to let me know how/what Chloe was doing. The last time I was away, Chloe wasn’t eating much. I took her to the vet before I left and they prescribed appetite stimulants which Ruthie administered as directed and kept me advised on how much she was eating. I lost Chloe shortly after returning from my last trip but I’m so glad Ruthie was able to watch her in my home which is where she felt most comfortable. I highly recommend Ruthie for your pet-sitting / house-sitting needs.

Please let me know if your dog has special needs or behavior issues etc. I also like to know if the dog has had any training (can they walk on a leash, do they know commands, etc). I prefer to take care of small or medium dogs.
A typical day
Regular walks and familiar games (fetch, etc) are always on the agenda. Due to an old injury, I am unable to jog with your pet, but I’m otherwise happy to provide their usual walks and activities.
