Hi! My name is Ruth Ulrich and I’d like to welcome you to Auntie Ruth’s home dog boarding and daycare done in my personal home! I'm a dog lover and caretaker who is licensed, insured, and certified in Canine CPR and First Aid! I've had the privilege and pleasure to watch dogs of all ages and breeds! I enjoy tailoring the care needed for dogs in all stages of life and health. I've babysat elderly and special needs dogs who were blind, deaf, or needed help to stand or be carried around. I’ve administered insulin shots, given oral pills, and diapered those who were incontinent or in heat. My favorite dogs to care for are the elderly and small dogs. I absolutely LOVE catering to their elderly needs and LOVE when I can carry them around too! 💕

Ruth went above and beyond for our puppy’s first stay at daycare. Even though it was a rainy day our pup was outside multiple times getting exercise and socializing with other dogs. She came home clean and exhausted from playing. We were very impressed with all of the communication and pictures. We got to see our pup having a wonderful time through her day. Prior to our visit Ruth was very clear and attentive to questions we had and took an obvious vested interest in our needs and the needs of our pup. We were very impressed and would recommend her services to anyone looking for a home away from home feel for their pups. We know we will be back soon and often!
This was the first time we had boarded our puppy and we were anxious about leaving her . Ruth did a great job watching over our super energized puppy !! We appreciated the pictures and messages to show us that our baby was ok. When we picked her up, she wasn’t stressed or hoarse and looked clean and healthy. We won’t hesitate or worry the next time we board her here… excellent !!

Information Ruth U. would like to know about your pet
I am often able to handle the different issues / vices that your average family dog would have. I need to know and discuss which shenanigans to monitor ahead of time. Dogs must be crate trained, potty trained, and get along with other dogs. I’m currently accepting new dogs 1-60lbs. Males 5 months and older must be neutered. Females in heat are an additional $25 daily. A copy of the Rabies Certificate needs to be approved and on file ahead of time. No out of state dogs unless you can additionally provide a Health Certificate (valid for 30 days from your vet). Dogs need to be on a monthly flea / tick product. Open hours for drop offs and pick ups are Mon-Sat 7:30-9:30am & 3:30-5:30pm. Sunday is 7:30-8am, 3:30-5pm, & 8:30pm (pickup only). Thanks so much for considering me to watch your fur-baby! I consider it a privilege and an honor.
A typical day
I love to be at home and will have lots of time to entertain your dog with treats, snuggles, belly rubs, exercise, ball toss, slow feeders, etc. We have a 4’ high fenced yard attached to the house and also a 6’ high fenced yard not attached to the house where the dogs will have lots of room to run, play, and exercise!

I LOVE to be at home and will have lots of time to potty, exercise, and snuggle with your dog! My husband has been around dogs his entire life. We have 3 well behaved handsome teen / young adult aged boys who are dog friendly and knowledgeable about dog care. We have 2 personal well behaved dogs. Megan is a very social and adventurous 5 yr German Shepherd whom we have had from puppy and knows 30 tricks and commands. Megan loves to spend her days exploring and hanging out. Sadie is a very social 5 yr Chiweenie rescue who loves to spend her days sleeping on the couch and generally following me around.
