Pet care experience
Hello! I have lived with pets since I was born and have been taking care of my own pets since I was five. I have experience with many kinds of animals in many different situations (from the tiniest mouse to the biggest draft horse). I am comfortable medicating animals and I have a soft spot for the older ones but I love every breed of dog and cats too. I have worked as a veterinary assistant and an animal care technician. In my experience pets are much more comfortable in a home situation. My cat Norbert is very comfortable in our home and is a very outgoing cat so anyone staying with us will have to get along with him. I currently work full time but I am able to check on pets mid-day. I am home most of the time on my weekends to give your cherished companions as much love and attention as possible.

Ruth was kind, communicative, flexible on planning and logistics and thoughtful in both arranging the watching of my dog, but also throughout the process of doing so. My dog appeared totally happy and healthy and she sent a daily picture that showed the same. I don’t know what else can be said because everything went really smoothly. No complaints and I plan to reach out again as soon as I need a sitter for my buddy.
I can't begin to say enough good things. Definitely went above and beyond expectations multiple times. Most importantly my dogs love her. Now when she comes to walk them they sit at the door and whine when she leaves.

I don't have a fenced yard but pets are always on a leash when they go out. I try to take at least a mile walk every evening in our very quiet neighborhood. I can somewhat modify my walk for your pets particular needs.

A typical day
There is a great pet friendly park right near my house and I love to take dogs for walks. Pets are welcome on the furniture and I am happy to use food puzzles, slow feeders, snuffle mats, kongs, etc. to keep your pet entertained.

I work full time during the day Monday through Friday but I am able to come home on my lunch period most days for a potty break.
