I have a westie who will be 12. I've dog sat and dog walked dogs. I love seeing them respond to nature and be healthy. I have 2 guinea pigs that are getting quite old.. I have a kitten also now with my dog and Its so cute to see them get along. I pet sat for a week I hated seeing the cutie leave to go home. I walked a poodle while the owner was at work . she moved away and my dog was so sad to see her leave. I missed her terribly. One time I gave my dog pig ears which made him so sick we had to run to get an Cray I had to stay awake all night making sure he was ok I've given my dog benadryl when he got a new sting.
