Hi! I’d love to take care of your pet! I have always loved pets and have had dogs since I was little. I have trained puppies, and dog sat for multiple families. I have dog sat/walked for dogs of all sizes and behaviors. I have also taken care of kittens and love cats as well! I recently moved to Norfolk to attend law school at Regent University. I currently don’t have pets of my own, but have always had pets in my house (and my roommate here also has a small dog). I love music, travel, and the outdoors. I have flexible work days Tuesday and Thursday, am available weekday evenings and some mornings and am available on weekends. I am also pretty great at taking some dog pictures for instagram. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your pets!

Ruth took great care of our pet family - one dog and 2 cats while we were travelling. She was very pleasant to deal with and quite responsible. Additionally, she showed great flexibility when one of us returned earlier than planned. Hence, I would recommend Ruth to anybody who is looking for peace of mine for pet sitting services.
Ruth was great with my pup. She walked her multiple times a day on her overnight stay and sent plenty of pictures. We hope to have Ruth watch our baby again!

If they have any fears (my dog was afraid of bikes and lawnmowers), if they are friendly with new people and dogs they might meet on walks, what their favorite toy is to play with. I love all dogs, but especially sheepdogs!!
A typical day
Walks, fetch, maybe learning a new trick, belly rubs, snugging, treats (if they’re allowed) and sticking to their regular food schedule! I like to take longer walks at least once a day or take dogs to the dog park if I’m able to.
