I have 3 dogs, 5 cats, a lion head rabbit, a snake, a turtle, a bearded dragon, a pair of Halloween moon crabs, and a ton of fish tanks! Add in the foster kittens that are constantly passing through, and you could say that I live in a bit of a zoo... And I wouldn't have it any other way! I have always been an animal lover, and I am really lucky that my family shares my passion! Working with animals is so therapeutic and so rewarding. They are such precious little souls, and I fall in love with every furbaby that I meet! I am experienced with administering oral and topical medications, but I do not do injections. I am comfortable with dogs of all breeds, cats, and (most) critters of all species and sizes, as long as they are friendly! I also bring in mail, take out trash, provide care for plants, fish, and other small animals at no extra charge when you book services for your dog or cat! Why I do what I do: I started pet sitting for Rover after my mom passed away. I was suffering from severe depression but I wanted to do something to help provide for my family, and to help ease the hurt in my heart. I realized how much animals helped pull me out of my sadness, and since I had done a lot of pet sitting for friends and family over the years, I decided to become a professional pet sitter! I also wanted to help give back to my community, so I started volunteering with a local cat shelter (Tails From the City- Cleveland), and now I am one of their weekly Leads! These were two of the best decisions that I've ever made in my entire life! A little heads up: I am upfront and honest, and I like to inform potential clients that sometimes when you get me, you get my little family too (that's 4 people to play with your pup's, for the price of ONE)! My husband likes to hang around for protection (it's a crazy world, after all), plus he is a big animal lover! My kids have been around animals their whole lives, and they are absolutely amazing with them. They are 12 and 13 years old, and if you have an energetic dog, they can definitely keep up with them! My family even volunteers at the cat shelter with me and they love tagging along on my sitting requests when their schedules allow it! *If you are not comfortable with the husband and kids tagging along, that is perfectly understandable and I have no problem with it, so just let me know! I want you and your furbabies to be 100% comfortable with your visits!* Why you should choose me: I am truly passionate about my job.
