I have been a pet owner for many years and have experience of three breeds in particular- Doberman, border collie cross Labrador and Basset Hound whom I have loved as family members. We only have our basset hound now and she is very friendly. However we have a male cat who is pleasant to visitors as long as they are pleasant to him. it’s very important that any visiting pet is accommodating to our feline friend.

Ruth and her partner were amazing with my cocker spaniel- sending daily pictures and updates,you could see he was loving his time there, plenty of interaction and walks with Bruno. Will be definitely using Ruth in the future
Claudia had an amazing time staying with Ruth for a week. She’s seven month old and I haven’t left her before so I found it quite stressful. I certainly didn’t need to be stressed. I received regular updates from Ruth and photos of Claudia having fun on walks and at the beach. She settled back in straight away and showed no signs of being upset. Thank you Ruth. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely lady … we had a meet and greet before to make sure our animals got along which really put me at ease leaving Mickey … he was given a lovely long walk and made very welcome by Ruth he was so happy and I will be definitely using Ruth in future thankyou so much

Your dog must be cat friendly. Please do not ask me to care for your dog if it has issues with cats. My daughter was a Rover dog sitter and the owner did not declare this at the time of booking resulting in fatal consequences.
A typical day
We go on daily walks around our lovely village or sometimes - when time allows - we go a little further and walk around Croxdale Hall or Burn Hall Woods.

I work part time but I am based at home. I have time to walk your dog at lunchtime or before work if it’s an early drop off and we have a fenced garden for extra time outside, if needed. Your dog is welcome to lounge in the living room with me whilst I work And chill out with our basset and cat (when he’s giving us the pleasure of his company!)
