I’m an outgoing, caring and respectful dog sitter who loves spending time with animals. With over 10 years of experience as a dog owner, I know how to give your dog(s) the love they need while you’re away. My mom got me my first dog Junior (German Shepard- Terrier) at the age of 17. We were literally best friends!! We would sleep together, take long walks and runs.The best times we had were when we played Fetch and Frisbee. I have not pets of my own right now, but I'd love to spend time with yours. I'm the go-to sitter and surrogate parent to many of my friend's pets. I would be a great sitter and dog walker because I love dogs and give them all the attention they need. I will make sure your dog has a great time when he/she is in my care. Dogs have so many wonderful qualities —I love that they play all the time, and their love of humans. I currently do not have a pet but have been lucky to own beautiful dogs throughout my life. I have also owned cats, dogs, mice and hamsters. They all love to play and need different types of care, so I’m sensitive to the needs of each individual animal. While I would love to own another dog and cat in the future, dog sitting helps me to bond with animals and enjoy the companionship of furry friends. I love spending with family and exploring my neighborhood and city. I hit the trails almost every day, and I love bringing dogs along with me. My flexible schedule allows me to provide dedicated attention to your pup. I can’t wait to welcome them to their home-away-from-home!

I was searching for a good dog walker and I came across with Russell who instantly was able to reply back to all my queries. He was kind enough to do a meet and greet (on a Saturday!) just so you'd feel comfortable prior to booking. Immediately upon meeting and talking to him how dog walking works, his intake, I felt comfortable enough to leave my baby, Wookie under his care 2x a day for a walk. He is very attentive to my dog and gives daily feedback with regards to how the walk is. He is also very dependent and didn't have any problem with him not able to come in. Wookie became best friend with him right away! Other than walking my dog he wipes my dog's paws and behind after every walk to ensure he is clean. He was also kind enough to help me refill water with each visits. Overall, he is very helpful and would go all out to help you the best than he can. I highly recommended him if ever you need a dog walker.

Russell is a great friend of mine. I have known him for a few years and he has recently started taking care of my dog Cindy when my parents and I go on vacation. He loves all animals but has a special place in his heart for dogs and cats. I actually created a Rover account over the summer as my parents and I were unable to find a family member to take great care of our dog while we went on vacation. I found a couple of nice people on Rover, but Russell volunteered to walk and feed our Cindy every day for 5 days. Russell was definitely my first choice as he and Cindy already had a great relationship. She has an obsessive licking problem which Russ embraces every time he sees her. She also does not get along with other dogs and Russell takes that into consideration. When she is in his hands, we know Cindy will have a great time and will be loved and cared for. P.S- I actually encouraged Russell to Join Rover because I know he would be a great sitter and friend :)
Russ is a charming young man who has an incredible rapport with animals. In fact, you can tell that he really LOVES animals and they love him! We opted for a walker / sitter after having a bad experience at a day care facility. Initially we had reservations about handing Sonny (our Goldendoodle) over to anyone, but Russ came highly recommend by a neighbor who ironically did not have a dog, but an elderly parent that Russ would help out of the kindness of his heart. In any event, after meeting him we gave it a shot. Sony was always enthusiastic to go on his walks. Russ took time to listen to our laundry list of do's and don't s (Sonny has allergies, etc). Bottom line is that we could trust Russ, Sonny loved him, he was responsible, timely, and we had a wonderful experience with him. We would be happy to give a personal recommendation.
