I love to see that wagging tail and excited face when I walk in the door. We all do! But sometimes I take a trip and I worry about the safety and security of my baby. Still, I think pets should never feel abandon, neglected and left alone or with someone who does not know how to properly care from them. I have pet sat for various friend and family member over the past 15 years. While your pet is with me he/she is in loving caring hands and will be treated as family. While I could never replace your parenting style I would like to make sure I am pretty close. That is why I require a a lot of information from pet owners. Be prepared for a 15- 20 minute conversation. :) I am a spouse of a Air Force Veteran, an Army Mom, a social worker and mother of three (including my hairy son ) LGBTQ affirming family. My family has had our dog for 17 years now he has traveled with us to various destination in the U.S. I love to travel! But my fur baby not so much ? He enjoys playing fetch, running freely, snuggling up and lots of TLC. Yes, he is very spoiled. What to expect: Your dog will go on 2-4 walks a day along with photo and video updates about their stay. Each dog gets a massage once a day and one on one time with me. A brief meet and greet is strongly suggested prior to pet sitting start date. We take the dogs to visit local dog parks to run around and play. Please let us know if you don't want your dog to visit the dog park. Please bring any beds and toys, crates, medications, grooming tools, shampoo etc, for your dog to help him/her adjust to the new environment. I live in a townhouse so I am able to care for large or giant dogs in my home. Our first floor is relatively empty so the dogs have room to sniff around and relax. Dogs that stay for 5 days or more are bathed (free of charge) if needed. Sometimes we play hard and get dirty. :) Please bring shampoo if you do not want us to use ours. I cannot sit dogs that are not house trained, leash trained, in heat, aggressive, do not get along with other dogs, are not up to date on vaccines and are not on fleas and tick preventives.
