As a child I spent a lot of time with my babysitter's two doberman pinchers, my cousin's black lab, and around the time I was in middle school we adopted Shelly, a cocker spaniel. I have also done dog walking, house sitting, and drop in visits as an employee of a dog walking company in Brooklyn, N.Y. In addition, I have volunteered and interned for a few summers at Animal Haven, and incredible animal shelter in Soho. I was trained there to care for dogs who presented as aggressive due to past trauma. This means I know how to work with dogs who have survived abuse, or have special health, or behavioral needs. I also know how to work with all different sizes of dogs and various breeds. I am patient, kind, and fun loving, and I feel connected to any and every dog I meet.
