Pet care experience
PLEASE NOTE SCHEDULE: MON-FRI: I work full-time on weekdays from 7:30a to 4:30p, so I cannot do weekday lunchtime visits unless your home is within 10 minutes of my job (near The Works in atlanta). On Fridays during the summer I work from 7:30a to 2:30p. SAT-SUN: On weekends I am completely free. I have five years of professional pet sitting experience and I also have a nine year old fur baby of my own. When I was younger I volunteered at Furkids for about four years, so you could say taking care of animals has always been a part of my life. Petsitting is one of the best jobs I've ever had — I love meeting all of the different fur babies! I love how dogs bring out the joy in people. Even in stressful situations dogs and other animals have this amazing ability to make you forget your worries and just enjoy the moment. That's what it's like every day with my little guy Buckley. He is the joy of my life. I mainly have experience sitting for cats and dogs, but if you happen to have a bearded dragon lying around I wouldn't mind throwing a couple of crickets his way, too! Other than dogs, I have offered care for cats, fish, and birds. I absolutely loved sitting for cats. When they decide they like you, it feels like you've won the lottery. I'm definitely open to care for other types of animals, especially cats. It's so great to see their personality emerge once the shyness dies down. I believe in excellent customer service, which I show by being responsible, dependable, and active. As well as making sure you’re comfortable with your pup in my care, I want your pet to have a great time — and that means lots of play time. All animals are precious to me and I treat all of my clients’ pets as if they are my own. We will be cuddled up together just like I cuddle up with my own dog, and my clients will breathe easy because I’ll send updates on how their babies are doing throughout the stay. I love Roxie! She's house sat for me a couple of times and my babies love her. She keeps me updated and sends pictures regularly. She is a gem and I highly recommend her.
Roxie was great. She brought a notebook to the meet and greet, took several notes and had great questions, which we definitely appreciated. When she sat for us she let us know when she was coming/going and sent several pictures of our dogs to let us know what they were up to. It was our first experience using someone from Rover and we were very happy with it.

Meet and greets are a must. A meet up in the home would be preferred just so I can get familiar with the environment. I would love for the client to list any commands their pet responds to, their habits, anything he or she likes (scratching that spot behind the ears!) as well as any dislikes.
A typical day
I work from 7:30a to 4:30p on the weekdays and from 7:30-2:30p on Fridays during the summer season. On those days, your pup and I will wake up and eat an awesome breakfast. We’ll go for a nice walk around the neighborhood and play a couple of rounds of catch before I leave for work. When I come back we’ll hit the road and cruise down the block until we can't cruise anymore. We’ll head back in for dinner, playtime with their favorite toys and then bedtime! On the weekends we would play, play, play all day. There are a lot of great places in Atlanta that are pet friendly. I”ll always ask permission to take your pup to a new place. If I have my pick, we’ll go to a local dog park so they can run wild and free.

Drop-in visits entail a home visit where I would give your pets love, attention, care and food. I would also let them out into your fenced in yard if you have one. Thank you!
