I would treat your dog like my own. I love animals, especially dogs. In fact, it breaks my heart when I see that a dog has been abused or abandoned. I am very responsible and observant. I have had experience with having my own dogs all of my life. They have been small and big, pure bred and mixed. At one point we had a pug, two terrier dogs and a German Shepherd. I volunteered at an animal shelter in Topeka while I was in high school. My job was to walk the dogs, play with them and clean their kennels. I have taken care of my neighbors' and roommate's dogs. My roommate's dog loved to ride in the car so I would take him in the car everyday. I also worked part time with senior adults and took care of their dogs. I would feed their dogs, give them fresh water and take them for walks. In addition, I would play with their dogs, take them to be groomed and administer medicine to them. I also noticed when one dog was not healthy and reported it. I am looking to do this part time, but I am available to stay nights with your dog. I would be able to check on your dog in the mornings, during my lunch hour and the evenings. Walking your dog would be great exercise for me and your dog. We could also go in my car to a dog park to play. I go into various homes for my full time job and many times there are dogs present who are not usually friendly toward strangers. However, they usually warm up to me and before I leave we are friends! In fact some of my friends call me the "dog whisperer" because dogs can sense that I am very comfortable around them. I am patient and kind. You can trust me to care for your dog and it will be a great experience! I will also care for cats. I have had cats all of my life. I currently have two cats in my home.
