I think it’s imperative to know what foods the dog is allowed to have, be it dietary needs or just the owner’s preference. Alongside this, it’s important to know how the dog interacts with other dogs, as this could help prevent bad interactions and even injuries. It’s also good to ask about all the standard vet issues such as vaccinations, spaying/neutering, etc. Also, the temperament of the dog is something you will grow to understand, but I think it’s important to ask the owner for a general description of how the dog behaves beforehand.

I have a car, so I can drive the pup anywhere to have a good time. I think walks in the woods are always a perfect option for an enriching exercise, but if the dog is social I think a good trip to the dog park is always a must :) If the dog is at my house, I have a huge, terraced backyard with plenty of room for exploring or playing fetch, or just relaxing in the sunshine and flowers!!
