I love dogs and I love making new furry friends! I grew up with my Cocker Spaniel, Doris, who was my best childhood friend so I learned to care for dogs at a young age. Since I moved from Hong Kong eight years ago I have missed having furry friends in my life, so I took every opportunity I could to dog walk/sit and volunteer at the local animal shelter -- an experience has allowed me to become great at working with all types of dogs: large, small, senior, young, active, aggressive, stubborn, or sick. While I travel too much to commit to having a dog of my own just yet, Rover has allowed me the irresistible opportunity to hang out with and host your pup! My boyfriend (who lives with me) will also help care for the pups who stay with us. He grew up with dogs as well, and is so excited to have a new running buddy. We live in Hell's Kitchen and there is a dog run across from my building and another one at the pier a block away. The park at the pier is tree-lined and has expansive fields for pups who want a little escape from the urban claustrophobia of the city. Being in this dog-friendly neighborhood, your pup will have many areas to sniff, and many chances to meet new friends -- it’s a puppy party! We are also very active and love to run and hike during the weekends. So if your pup is up for it, we could go jogging on the West Side path, or go hiking at Bear Mountain! I'm also a photography hobbyist -- I love taking photos of pups and I will happily send the shots to the pup's owners to let them know how their dog is doing. I am excited for the opportunity to share my love with your pup and welcome him/her to our home.
