Fun Camp is the place for dogs
Pet care experience
Dogs love being at Fun Camp - what we call our home in Thousand Oaks. My wife and 4 kids and I are dog lovers. We currently have 2x 100+ pound Golden Retrievers. My kids ages are between 9-14 We all play ice hockey so kids are tough enough to be with big dogs. We go for a hike daily 30 - 60 minute (on-leash hikes) and we have an off-leash dog park at Walnut Grove Park less than 1,000 feet from Fun Camp. We attract the most awesome dog loving people as friends and often go camping with them, have game nights with them, support each other’s parties/events. We give our dogs a lot of love and we don’t feed them any people food.

I had to go to England for 2 weeks and I was extremely anxious about leaving Buzz until I met Ross and his family. They are such lovely, warm, awesome people. I could tell when I picked up Buzz he had been very much loved and extremely well taken care of. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend giving your dog a vacation at the Fun Park!! I received lots of photographs and videos whilst I was so far away and didn’t worry about Buzz in the slightest. Thank you Ross and family, you guys are the best!!!

A typical day
We typically walk around Walnut Grove Park and do a 30-60 min hike, if the dogs still have energy to burn we will visit the dog park. At home they will have access inside and out to play with kids, pets, dog friends, people friends, toys.. (and do their business - as often as they like).

There’s almost always an adult home as we work from home. Feed dogs before taking kids to school. Go for walk when I come back.
