I love playing with all types of animals, whether it's tug-of-war in the house, playing catch in the park, or going for walks in the woods. I'm flexible and willing to talk with any pet parents to discuss anything you want me to know about how to be the best sitter for your furry family member. I'm happy to take pictures, send text/email updates, and follow through with any special requests. I have a car and will be able to handle any emergencies that could occur (but they won't!). I have a fenced in yard where I let my own dog play catch, use the bathroom, and sun bathe. My dog is friendly and happy to play with any house guests. She will be present for any stays in my home, but if you don't want her present for walks or check-in's I will respectfully follow your preferences! I can be available every day except Tuesday's and Thursday's. Most hours will work for me, but best to contact me to ensure that your dog can get the best care! I believe in treating our furry friends with respect and dignity. I would never cause a pet any harm or unnecessary discipline. I find that yelling at dogs doesn't work, so I try to communicate in a calm, slow manner. If you are training your dog, I'm happy to incorporate practice into our time together as long as I'm provided detailed instruction on how you would like me to do it. I will not let dogs off leash unless we are in a closed in dog park, and will not take the dog to a dog park if parents prefer.
