Pet care experience
I have been background checked not only by Rover but for other jobs that require higher security. I absolutely can be trusted in your home. I have owned several dogs in my life, and two were medically challenged. I follow your instructions for your pet's care but I also listen and observe their signals which I can physically and intuitively read. My own animals were nurtured and loved more than I can say. In addition to traditional medical treatments which I administered I also I studied and used holistic remedies on my pets. Sometimes a little lavender aromatherapy on my hands or arm calmed my very nervous pet especially when needing vet care! I have administered medications to animals including pills, eye drops, and injections for diabetes. I took care of a dog that had severe allergies and know how important it was to give her meds and also what needed to be done with her special food. I have watched and have owned dogs, cats, birds, turtles, chickens, fish and have excellent references.

I have known Rosemary for almost 50 years, and to this day I tell her she should have become a veterinarian. She has had numerous animals all of her life, dogs, cats, birds, turtles, chickens, she is a true animal lover. She is a wonderful, caring, , loving person who knows how to treat animals with great kindness. I always marveled at how she always seemed to know how to treat and care for any animal. She has nursed many animals back to health. Rosemary would be a wonderful dog sitter, the dogs won't want her to leave. Any dog would be lucky to be in Rosemary's care. She really does have an innate quality of knowing what animals need and want. I highly recommend Rosemary as a dog sitter for Rover. Rosemary is a natural born lover of animals, she would be a perfect choice for the job.
Rosemary became my pet sitter in Dec. 2014. I rehab injured and orphaned wild birds, and pet birds are in and out of my place while I rehome them. Rosemary came several times, to meet my birds and practice making their food, and many plates are different, but she wrote notes so as not to forget. She also asked me to write my own notes for each bird. She is kind and gentle with animals..and they took to her immediately. She also is very honest and trustworthy. I would recommend her for any job, but certainly fort pet and house sitting.

Is s/he housebroken and friendly. I prefer small to medium size dogs but also love laps and retrievers Does it chew things in house? Is s/he afraid of lightning and fireworks or anything they might make him/her uncomfortable. What is the dogs usual routine? How is he or she with other dogs cats or other animals and people? Is he or she shy or very outgoing? Has he or she bitten anyone or has been aggressive in any way?
A typical day
Walks on the beach, the park, plenty of toy play and hugs. They will receive plenty of hugs and kisses and also will enjoy a bit of Lomi lomi Massage and Reiki. One of my pet owners dog who had medical problems found that her dogs menstrual cycle resumed after I had been with them. She was a young dog so this was good for her as most likely her hormones had balanced. I love to sit with them or carry them or walk them in their carriage if they are used to. I am willing to take them to the dog run if that is their usual place of play. At this time I cannot accept pets in my home so I can only care for your pet in your home which I am available to do. I work independently so I can make my own hours as needed.
