Country fun on the 5 acre farm
Pet care experience
For 21 years I have focused on working with dogs: working at veterinary clinics, pet shops, a doggie daycare, groomers and shelters. I have certificates in grooming and veterinary assisting. I loved working at the doggie daycare, but not so much the kennels. I was always sad that the dogs were in kennels for so many hours of each day. When I moved here on the farm with 5 fenced in acres I knew what I wanted to do: make a kennel free, home like boarding environment. So I am living my dream job and devote myself to doggie care only. I give the 1 on 1 attention that anybody would want for their babies. They need extra exercise or obedience/obstacle training, happy to help. They crave social interaction? We have 4 hours of play groups daily! They need a lap, a brush & some cuddles? I'm here for that too. Dogs are free to spend the night wherever they are most comfortable, either in a crate, on the couch or on the bed. I treat your babies like I would want mine to be treated. Which means they are part of the family, not kenneled. Now that the holidays are over I am building two large dog park areas (one a playground and the other an agility course) and a doggie "club house" as a central area devoted to pups. We are also revamping all fencing to make the farm as safe as possible. With all the commotion the place is a little untidy...but don't worry we will be back in full swing by mid spring. More fun and activities are coming for the doggie visitors to the farm! P.S. I do live on a farm. There is not a square of concrete on the property. We do tend to get dirty during the day (that's how you know we played hard and had fun) but every dog gets a quick brush and sponge bath/wipe down every day. However if mud isn't your thing I'm sorry. I offer lots of love, attention, genuine caring, play, socializing with dogs/cats/goats and maybe slightly dirty paws.
Reviews
Rogue was well taken care of, but pictures were sparesea and we didn't get all of our stuff back.
I gave her four star because I was a little worry at the day that I need to pick up my dog. We went there and no one home. I been waiting for a least an hour. She don’t pick up the phone or text me back. But later on she text me back and sorry because of family emergency.
Roseanne came through on a last minute request. Our GSD has fear anxiety and we were having a hard time finding a sitter. Roseanne welcomed her in, and I'm so grateful for her and her family. We will be using her again for sure.
Snoopy's stay with Roseanne was great! He had a great time and we know she took great care of him. She sent pictures and videos of him while we were away and we really enjoy seeing how great he was doing. Overall it was a great experience!
