Pet care experience
I grew up with many kinds of animals, my most recent being an eccentric Siberian Husky. I’ve always had a strong love for animals which has lead me to my work with both farm and domestic animals, giving me experience with creatures of all shapes and sizes! I work at an Evanston animal hospital as a vet assistant but I’d like to continue working with pets outside of work. I’ll be sure to work with whatever customized instructions you provide in conjunction with my work schedule. Each animal has a unique personality so I will be sure to make the experience as fun and personal as I can! Thank you for your interest and I hope to see your dog/cat soon! :)

Rose was an amazing pet sitter! We were in constant communication with text and picture updates twice a day. She left our house neat and clean after staying there with out pets while we were out of town. I would re-book Rose in a heartbeat for our next vacation! On top of it all her kindness and compassion shines through in every interaction you have with her!
Rose stayed at my house for 7 days/6 nights and took care of my large dog and 2 cats. She kept everyone on their normal schedule and gave me regular updates. Would absolutely recommend her and will call her again the next time I go out of town.
I can't say enough about Rose! She is terrific! Rose stayed at our home with our 4-year-old bulldog and 13-year-old cat for a week and took absolutely wonderful care of both of them! I received pictures and progress notes daily which were very reassuring. We came home to find both of our pets very happy and content! I give my highest recommendation to Rose without any hesitation. I'm so happy to have found her! Thank you Rose!
Rose was excellent. She took on our three pups and kept us informed the entire week. We came home to very happy healthy dogs who I think now miss her. Would totally recommend her and we will definitely use her in the future.

I do not have any breed preferences, but I appreciate descriptions of your pet’s temperament; how friendly is he/she around people/dogs? Does your pet have any triggers that I should know to avoid? Any allergies to food or other allergens? I would also like to know about any health issues they may have and what kinds of medications they may need. Favorite treats and activities would also be helpful. :)
A typical day
The day starts off early before work so I can be sure that your pet is comfortable to sit at home for the first half of the day, usually involving an early morning walk or time outside. I come back during my lunch break for another quick walk, and will usually walk the pet again after I come back for the day/before bed (all depending on the pet’s energy levels). Food is provided according to the pet’s schedule and playtime happens throughout the day :)

I’m currently working full-time but I can accommodate my time to your pet before work, during lunch, and after work, depending on distance. I work from 7:45am to about 5-5:30pm with an hr lunch break between 12 and 2pm.
