Pet care experience
I AM CURRENTLY IN EUROPE! Be back in 2023! I grew up on a ranch with dogs and many other animals and love to be around animals as much as I can. I just graduated from college and moved to CDA. I am trying to make the responsible choice to not get a dog for a little bit since I just moved and haven't started work yet. In September I will begin substitute teaching in the CDA and Spokane Valley areas. My work day will not be longer than 6.5 hours a day meaning your pup won't have to be alone too long. I was dog sitting for a couple people back in Oregon and miss it like crazy. I have had the most experience with bigger dogs but I still enjoy and am good with smaller dogs as well. Honestly I am just happy to be with them and get the snuggles or walks because I really do miss it. And the other great part is my roommate loves dogs just as much as I do! SO 2x the snuggles for the price of one! I figured why not help others while doing something I love to do. Send me a message if you need a sitter or a walker!

So we dropped off our two spoiled dogs at Rose’s adorable house and immediately felt they were in good hands! I am actually not sure if they really cared if we picked them up:). They were well fed, well loved and taken care of - we couldn’t ask for more!

The house I live in is split into 4 units and mine is a separate "mother in-law" sweet at the back of the house (so it is away from the road and side walk. I have a roommate who is equally as enthused by dogs as me. Our home is single leveled and about 700 square feet. Sadly there is no fenced yard but there are many parks in walking distance we can go. If I am boarding a dog I would love confirmation they will not get into things or chew on things. If that is a problem they should be crated trained please! I am more than happy to go to your house or stay at over as long as it is decently well kept (it's no offense to any one, I just have reactive allergies to dust and dander when I stay too long, like over night). Hopefully whatever you need we can work out a plan!

Let me know about the dogs behavior and what is normal to the them. This is important so that I can be consistent with them and I can know if their behavior is abnormal and needing attention. Like stated prior, if I am boarding it is extremely important to know their temperament and how they behave when left alone. Since I have a roommate I want to be able to communicate what a dogs behavior will be like before agreeing to them staying with us. Of course if a dog has special needs like medication or different accommodations I am happy to comply if you let me know in advance.
A typical day
I love to go on walks and play fetch or tug of war. I am not personally a runner but my roommate is and would love the company. When it is warm I love to go to the water or to a park. My roommate and I also love to hike and would love to take your dog with us! In the winter it can still be fun to go to the park but I also enjoy playing hide and seek games with dogs inside or more light impact games. PLUS so many snuggles and pets at all time!

Availability
I am a substitute in the CDA and Spokane Valley. Schools start and end times vary but I should only be occupied 6.5 hours a day. Since I am a sub my schedule is flexible and I can do half days on some occasions.
