I began training our family dogs at age 11 and found great success with it. Learning to be assertive with animals is a very valuable skill that has impacted other animal encounters I've experienced later in life. I dogsat for friends, coworkers, and bosses in college and have expanded my work with canines to include police-trained dogs, sled dogs, and certified aide dogs. I have worked Rover gigs across the country, and love meeting all the personalities of each individual dog. It's great to see a dog's character unfold over time an for to watch our dynamic mature. Whether it's playful or calm or adventurous. I have yet to meet a dog I didn't connect with and I look forward to all the future meetings. I have now worked on Rover for 5 years and enjoy each unique pet I meet.
