Pet care experience
I’m a recent college graduate, working remotely in Scottsdale, AZ. I’ve fostered dogs, cats and volunteered at animal shelters all my life. I grew up caring for 3 dogs but have been boarding and sitting dogs professionally for 5 years now (Wag). I’m very active and love walking or running with a dog at my side! I have experience with strong/ “hard to handle” dogs and puppies as well. I love meeting dogs of all sizes, breeds, and unique personalities! I live in a apartment with a balcony and dog run with grass and are a 2 minute walk from a lovely park. I do have a lab and a kitty at home and both are friendly and chill with all animals and people. Thanks!

My apartment is always clean, food never left out because Rufus is already on the lookout haha. I’ve been dog walking for many years and have encountered many obstacles when dog walking/sitting and I’ve learned staying alert and giving them love and attention keeps them happy.

Health conditions, allergies, food sensitivities are important. Also any behavior preferences or triggers for them that I can avoid and whether they are potty/house trained and leash trained. I can take care of pets with any of these issues but being prepared for it matters!
A typical day
With high energy dogs I like to start the day off with exercise. When they get their energy out they are happier! I cater each day depending on the dog and their needs and demeanors. I live by a lovely open park and there’s s dog park with green grass at my apartment complex and is usually empty!!

Availability
I am home full time so the pups will get my full attention and love! When I wake up I usually go for a walk or run and then work on my laptop at home for around 3 hours, then I’m free the rest of the day! :)
