Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs in my family. I have learned from my parents how to responsibly care for our dogs and that experience taught me a lot. I have two lovely dogs, Daisy, a golden retriever and Gordie, a Maltese mix from a rescue shelter. I also have two rescue kitties, short-haired Izzy and long-haired Fred. Am an active volunteer at the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland for over two years now and loving it. I have done kennel cleaning, walking, bathing and spending quiet doggies time for rest and relaxation. As member of a team, our input is appreciated and valued. Spending time with my pets is relaxing and we enjoy exploring new and familiar places. As an added bonus, the benefit that I get by being with them is priceless. Even though I have a full time job, I still find time to do what I love to do. It is also my way of exercise. I make sure that the pet or pets is/are secured, safe and happy while under my care and also taking into account the owner's/owners' instructions.
Reviews
Rose is THE BEST!!
Very reliable! Great feedback about each walk. Our pup loves walks with Rose.
Rose is the absolute best and I do not know what we would do without her. She really goes above and beyond to take care of our baby. Thank you, Rose!
Rose was great at communication she provided feedback about our pup was doing.

Information Rose M. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know the activities that a dog enjoys, any food allergy, food aggression, resource guarding, triggers and dog reactivity. I have no breed preferences.
A typical day
I walk dogs in their neighborhood and if the owner specifies, I take the route they usually take. Playing in the yard is one thing that can be done if the dog is reluctant to walk.
