Pet care experience
I've taken care of and loved many dogs since I was 9 years old. Whether dogs love to snuggle or be active outside, I always give them the attention they require. Additionally, I keep a variety of treats in stock to spoil them as long their diet allows. I have experience bottle feeding puppies and administering oral medication to dogs as prescribed, and am able to give baths to even the most anxious doggos. I have taken care of small puppies and large breeds, like German Shepherds. As a dog owner myself, I also know the importance of maintaining schedules for potty training if that is needed. No matter the attention your dog requires, I will be able to deliver a fun and affectionate experience for them while they await your return.

I have a fenced back yard and am located close to Fish Creek Trail and Coastal Trail access. My house is two stories and in a quaint pet-friendly neighborhood. I have a small, 1.5 year old terrier mix named Daisy and my housemate has a friendly 12 year old German Shepherd named Tawni.

Please let me know what type of dog you have, their temperament around people and other animals, dietary restrictions (i.e. no treats), and if there are any medications that should be administered. Additionally, please let me know if there are certain training habits you would like enforced (i.e. not allowed on furniture, potty training schedule, etc.)
A typical day
We will go on walks along the coastal trail and play with an assortment of dog toys. If it is within your comfort level, I will happily take your dog on a hike near Prospect Heights, the Turnagain Arm Trail, or Hillside trails.

Availability
I currently work from home and have flexible hours. I am able to take frequent breaks to let dogs out and go for walks or lunch break/post-work hikes nearby. I would love to have a regular schedule with your dog but am flexible to serve as a last-minute sitter or walker.
