I prefer to meet a pet at a park or public area before committing to services to see how the pet responds to all the environmental stimuli (ie observe pet/owner relationship, how pet reacts to other people, animals, or things like cars. It’s also good to see if the dog gets along well with me. Please let us know of any quirks, fears, allergies, or triggers for your pal, if they have a bad eating habit, or maybe aren’t allowed on furniture at home, we don’t want to alter your pet’s behavior so if there are any concerns please voice them, and don’t be worried about judgment, just because a pet may have food aggression doesn’t bar them from my care. :) Dogs have open run of the first floor with the exception of the kitchen, I have gates on my porch and bu the doors for security and barriers to keep them from going to the second floor. I don’t like to kennel unless there is a medical or behavioral reason. If your dog is learning tricks let me know your commands ahead of time and we can work on them during the visit! I can also offer photos and videos throughout their stay if you’d want to receive updates.

I have several parks in my general residential area, So boarding buddies will enjoy park walks and with permission they can even be taken to county or state parks, as my partner and I are avid hikers, smaller dogs can be taken on bike rides around town in a pet cart (smaller ones can ride in backpacks) We also have a long fenced yard for fetch or some free running, but I prefer dogs to take walks for exercise and potty. You won’t have to worry about your pal sitting out on a tether for extended hours. If you would like your dog to spend a day in a scenic park or possibly go boating mention something at the booking, we are weekend warriors! We are also in the process of learning to make our own smoked bones and pig skins as chew toys, we prefer to offer natural digestible options rather than latex or acrylics, let us know if this is an issue.
