Pet care experience
I had a Golden Retriever but unfortunately he passed away after complications with epilepsy so I have some experience giving medication. I have also dog-sitted for friends and relatives. I also volunteer at shelters occasionally. As an animal science major graduate of Cal Poly SLO, I learned more about taking care of animals and I have a love for animals. I recently finished doing a master’s in veterinary medicine at National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan learning more about acupuncture, traditional chinese medicine, and dermatology and am going to vet school in Scotland. I am flexible with hours and truly excited about getting to meet some dogs around my area. I can also accomodate any special needs that people have for their dogs.

Rose was reliable, professional, attentive to our dog, and responsive to our detailed requests. Our geriatric retired SAR K9 is too old to travel with us and we have family out of the country, so this was our first week away without her. Rose gave us frequent updates, including an impressive 80+ check-in photos. She closely monitored Angels pain and coordinated her pain meds with us accordingly. She kept a close watch on Angel including at night when Angel needed help standing to go potty at times. Rose continued Angel's ongoing at-home pain treatments such as ICE and IVIVI treatments. Finally, she was very supportive helping us to co-ordinate care with other providers that we had coming to support Angel with other treatments and visits. Overall, we were confident that Angel was getting an excellent level of care in our absence and as a result, we were able to thoroughly enjoy our family visit.
I. Love. Rose. And more importantly our dogs love rose! She sent constant pictures, and took great care of my babies! I was on my honeymoon for two weeks and I felt so safe with her being there. What a lady!
Rose watched our girls for multiple days. They were definitely being little brats but Rose handled them really well. We’d be happy to hire her again!
Rose was wonderful. She went far beyond the call of duty. I have already recommended her to a friend.

I generally only do house sittings because there are other animals in my home and it would just be safer for all the animals to stay in their respective homes. Though in client’s homes I am always respectful towards the owner’s belongings and will only use what is needed to care for the pets.

If they have any biting/ nibbling habits with toys/ food. If they are potty trained or not. If they like to chew on furniture. If they are friendly with other animals.
A typical day
I’d walk your dog at least 4 times a day to potty and just explore the neighborhood. Otherwise they would be indoors playing tug of war or fetch. Maybe even try to teach them some tricks with the provided treats.

I am currently studying at the University of Glasgow, so anytime I’m not in class I would be caring for your pet and I would have plenty of time to hang out with them.
