I've had experience working with several breeds in different environments. I've worked at the LAAS Shelter and the Yolo County Animal Shelter dealing with several dogs, from the more friendly and relaxed to the severe cases of separation anxiety, and aggressive reactivity towards others. I've had practice interacting with small and larger breeds through body language and basic obedience training. I am part of the Animal Behavior internship with the Yolo County SPCA where i have gained practice and led other interns in dog training techniques using positive reinforcement. Additionally I've been volunteering as a Foster Parent for rescued dogs with the Hearts for Paws Rescue in Davis,CA. I've opened my home to all the beautiful dogs in need and helped them gain their confidence. Each dog requires a different approach and i have gained more and more experience from the excited and confident to the shut down and frightened pups. Additionally, I've had 5+ years of experience walking/ caring for clients' pets aside from my own littles :) Lending out my simple services of check-ins, daily walks, bathing ans basic grooming, as well as follow the desired rules/directions of each pet parent. My most important mindset it to approach each pup at their own comfort level and provide the enrichment taylored to each individual, as well as provide you with some assistance in our hectic lifestyles!
