We recommend Rosalie without reservation! She not only is kind-spirited, but she is also very intelligent, patient, curious, responsible, a good listener, observant, insightful and generous. In my 12 years of arranging care for my rat terrier, which has included everything from professional kenneling to having house sitters or stays with family or friends, our dog's experience with Rose was the best she has ever had. I know this because our dog, when she trusts and loves you, gives a special kiss which is a nudge of her nose in to your ear. She only does this for a handful of people, and she told us that she approved of Rose with this special kiss right at the Meet and Greet. Similarly, when we picked her up ten days later she was thrilled to see us, but included Rose in her joyful attention too. In the past, our dog would sometimes seem afraid of who had cared for her, or conflicted, or there was just no evidence of a bond. Rose had obviously forged that bond with our independent dog by catering to her likes: daily walks, Animal Planet on T.V., being let out whenever she asked, and getting to sleep right next to Rose's head! This was our very first time using Rover, and we are SO glad we discovered this service and Rose who we will most definitely be using again! We had lots of wonderful sitters to choose from here, but Rose wrote back to us instantly, and very articulately reflected to us her full comprehension of our dog's special needs and quirks. I am a perhaps over-zealous pet parent, and Rose was also tolerant and understanding of me when I made special requests like taking the dogs on a group walk together before we committed to the stay, and securing the yard to the point of impenetrability. I was impressed with Rose's knowledge of pack behavior and how her calm and centered presence was reflected in the good behavior of her own two sweet dogs. In fact, I must say that it seems like being with Rose's pack has had a surprising beneficial effect on our dog, who, despite her previous penchant for barking at all squirrels and cats, now coasts along with a more relaxed demeanor (it will be interesting to see how long this lasts!) It was a great experience to finally be able to truly enjoy my vacation without any concern for my dog because I could rest in trust of Rose's expert care. I almost didn't want to toot Rose's horn so much so that we could keep her a secret for ourselves, but as a dog mom, I know how crucial and rare it is to find a caretaker the caliber of Rose.

Rosalie took great care of our beloved pet while we were on vacation. We will definitely use her services in the future!
