I have been playing, running, and working with dogs since I was 5 and have always had a pup around! Recently, I've successfully trained my Heeler/Aussie mix to be respectful on leash, always up for an adventure, and paired this with a love and trust to be best friends. I have experience with puppies, herding breeds, and energetic dogs. My mentality with dogs is one saturated in respect. I want to be your dog's bud, but I also firmly believe that comes from a place of respect. My interaction method doesn't not use any firm reprimand (jerking on leash, yelling, etc.) but rather patience, waiting for the dog to make the right choice before progressing to a point of reward and positive reinforcement.
