Pet care experience
I am a friendly outgoing dog lover who will put your pets safety and comfort as top priority! I want you as the owner to feel comfortable and have peace of mind when you leave your pet in my care. I will treat your pet as if they were my own and apart of the family. I have worked in childcare and cared for my employers pets/home while they were away on vacation. I am a natural nurturer and will do my best in caring for your animal. I will update you frequently with photos and ask you any questions that pertain to your pet while they are in my care. I have a fenced off yard and walking trails a few blocks from my home to insure your dog will get in plenty of fresh air rain or shine! Your dog will have plenty of interaction and play so they won't miss you too much while you're away!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Rosa and her family! She took care of my two Labradors, Dolly Pawton and Loki the Trickster, and went above and beyond in every way. Rosa provided daily walks that my dogs thoroughly enjoyed, played with them in her spacious yard, and kept me updated with plenty of pictures and videos, which was incredibly reassuring. It was clear from all the happy tail wags and playful antics in the updates that Dolly and Loki were having a great time. I highly recommend Rosa to any pet owner looking for a loving and attentive sitter—she truly is a gem!

Rosa is an absolute angel. She does so well with my high energy large breed dog. I have always avoided travel since I have a hard time leaving my boy and it’s been such a blessing to have her help so I can travel without worry. My dog is always such a happy guy in all his photos while I’m away and my home is spotless when I return. 💗
Rosa is a wonderful sitter. She goes above and beyond taking care of the pups. Her house does have other family members, who may be in and out of the house. So your pup is never alone, even if Rosa leaves for a short bit.

I would like to know your dogs temperament so I can interact accordingly. It is helpful to know how they are with separation anxiety and any valuable information you feel I should know since every pet is different. It is important for me to know if you prefer your pet not go to any dog parks. Overall I would like to know the dogs likes and dislikes in order for them to have the most positive experience. Most importantly if your dog is taking any medication I need very clear care/dosage instructions. It is always helpful to update your dogs profile on Rover with up-to-date care instruction that way I can view them when needed or send me a detailed message with their care instruction before their stay.
A typical day
I enjoy taking the dogs in my care for walks on the Des Moines Creek Trail. Access to the trail is conveniently located at the end of my block. Your pet will enjoy the over 2 mile trail walk and will be tired out at the end of it. If your dog is unable to walk for extended periods of time (please let me know and we can adjust the walk to fit their needs). If you are okay with it I can also take your dog to local dog parks so they can interact and play with other furry friends! I am just 5 mins away from Mountain View dog park! If they do not yet play well with other pets, no worries. I have a large fully fenced yard that they can enjoy and explore during playtime!

I have a flexible work schedule. My mother who is retired also lives with me. Your pup will have all day access to the yard for potty breaks.
