Pet care experience
We are all cat lovers in our house (that's me, my husband and my 2 teenage girls) and we are able to provide a cosy home with lots of attention and plenty of warm laps to choose from. Unusually we don't have a cat of our own at the moment, so yours will be a VIP in our house. I started cat boarding after using the service myself with our last cat. I knew leaving her home alone with just 10 minutes of human company a day, while a friend topped up the food and left, would not have suited her at all, and I could never have put her in a cattery. I was genuinely surprised and delighted at how quickly she made herself at home at the cat boarder's house, leaving me to enjoy my holiday. Now I provide the same service for other cat owners. I am also a registered cat fosterer with the Cinnamon Trust, so am used to getting cats settled in quickly so they can feel relaxed and comfortable as soon as possible.

I was very anxious leaving Buddy whilst going abroad, but I couldn't have left him in better hands. Ros T treats him as part of her family, and he is as happy as I am to stay in his 'home from home' while I'm away.

I'm very happy to look after any cat, no matter what size, breed or temperament. Just let me know what they like to eat; which are their favourite toys; whether they like to be brushed; and what sort of strokes, tummy tickles and head rubs they like, and they'll feel right at home in no time. I can look after singletons, or multiple cats from one home.
A typical day
Your cat will be treated like a VIP when staying with me, able to move freely around my home and go wherever they like. I make sure my cat guest is happy each morning, feeding according to your instructions and giving plenty of fuss. Your cat will then be able to spend mid-morning to mid-afternoon undisturbed, sleeping, washing, mooching about the house and watching the world from the windows. Tea-time, playing and grooming come in the evening, with lots of attention and laps to sit on. There's a woodburner to snooze by in the winter, and lots of warm sunny spots in the summer. Although we have a large garden I won't let your cat outside during their stay as it's simply too risky - a determined cat can be up and over a high fence in a flash. They are welcome to watch the birds and squirrels from inside though!
