Pet care experience
I have experience taking care of adult dogs, senior dogs, cats, and hamsters from age 10. I've recently taken care of two adult cats and visited them daily for a few hours to play with them and make sure they get plenty of interaction. I also love looking after dogs, getting to take them on walks, play and go to the park! I love taking care of cats or dogs and am happy to care for either.

Rory was great and stayed over night with a new and frisky kitten! Rory was patient with the cat’s energy, even in the night. They communicated frequently, played and fed the cat on schedule and we came back to a happy kitten.
Rory did a great job caring for our two senior dogs, two cats and our home. Very responsive and a fabulous communicator, Rory sent us photos of our pets and texted with questions. We hope Rory is available the next time we travel!!!
Easily the best pet sitter we ever had. Rory truly love animals and it shows. They sent pictures and videos of them playing with our cats (our kids) every time she came to visit. I knew our kids were getting fed. Another huge plus was they were always available. It was nice for our kids to have another consistent human they can run up to when we’re not there. It was easy to communicate with them when we wanted something new done. Rory is a very trustworthy person and is the first person I recommend to all my friends.

I can give you regular updates (and photos) so you know how your pet is holding up while you are gone. If I stay in a client's home I am always very respectful of the house. I'll clean, do the dishes, take out the trash, and make sure it looks cleaner than I found it. I am fully vaccinated and make sure to wear a mask when out with the dog. I make sure to clean up poop and clean liter boxes consistently. I make sure to have vet contacts in case of an emergency.

Let me know if your dog or cat has any special needs ahead of time. Such as medication, social behaviors, food preferences etc. If your pet doesn't get along well with other pets or people so I know how to handle your pet on walks and in the public if that is applicable
A typical day
On a typical day I would take the dog out for a nice long walk to get the blood pumping, socialize with other dogs if your dog gets along well with others. Maybe go on a nice hike! I like to go to Briones, Joaquin miller or Lime ridge trails. Getting home we could rest or play with toys for a while.

I am currently working part time so I have a lot of availability. When working with a client I won't leave the home for more than a few hours at a time.
