Pet care experience
As a seasoned dog- mom, I take the role pretty seriously: from hosting dog birthday parties to making homemade dog treats, my dogs are my family and hopefully I get a chance to treat yours like family too! I work normal business hours with chances to get out of the office during the day so I'm available to check on your fur- kids the way I'm able to check on mine throughout the work day. My lab mix, Hank, just retired after 5 years as a certified therapy dog with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs and we've gone through extensive training over the years to maintain that certification. My yard is fenced and my dogs are very social so your dog will not only have a great place to stay, but they'll also get to make new friends!

I highly recommend Roni! Responded promptly to my inquiry and set up a meet & greet soon after. She was prompt, professional, and easy to work with. Best of all, she was great with our animals and they didn't miss a beat while we were gone. She provided us feedback with photos during the visits, written notes at the house, and even left them "pupsicles" in the freezer! Don't hesitate to call her to watch your animals.
Roni did a wonderful job caring for my 2 dogs. She did everything asked of her and even more. She was thoughtful enough to go the extra mile of wiping their paws before the dogs came back into the house from a muddy yard. Both dogs loved her immediately when they first met her. Roni was punctual, reliable, responsible trustworthy and definitely loves furbabies. I will definitely book her again in the future. :)

I'm an equal- opportunity dog lover. My mom has a Chihuahua mix that weighs about 5 pounds, and I have two larger breed rescues so as long as they're friendly and vaccinated, I'd love a chance to get to hang out with them!
A typical day
We frequent local parks and lake trails! We're always at Herman Baker and Waterloo, adventuring and smelling the smells. Our activities will depend on the dog's energy level: my younger rescue is very high energy so we run outside or we play fetch in the back yard, while my older dog is lower- energy and just wants to snuggle on the couch.

Availability
My full-time job has some flexibility so I’m typically able to check in with the dogs throughout the day as my schedule allows. On weekends, I like to spend time with my dogs so your pup(s) will get plenty of quality time as well. Since my husband is in education, summers and school breaks work well for us too.
