I had my very first furbaby at the age of 7...she was a cocker spaniel named Buttons...my step dad taught me everything i needed to know about taking care of her...she was the best furbaby..she lived to the age of 19 years old...since then my family and I always adopted our furbabies from shelters...all lived to old age...I currently have 3 furbabies and i also feed 5 different cat colonies...one colony that has 21 cats.. 2nd has 4 3rd has 6 4th has 7 and the 5th has 13. they are all unique and special in there own way...I wish i was able to take them all in but because i cannot, i take the best care that i can give them...wet and dry food, water, treats and shelter...I sit and spend time with them to let them know they are all loved..
